Why use Colgate Sensitive Instant* Relief?

With it’s unique PRO-ARGIN technology, Colgate® Sensitive Instant* Relief toothpaste offers a solution that is clinically-proven to relieve tooth sensitivity pain.

How does Colgate Sensitive Instant* Relief work?

Exposed dentine tubules are the pathways to sensitivity pain – our PRO-ARGIN technology plugs these tubules to start blocking sensitivity pain instantly*.

PRO-ARGIN consists of arginine, an amino acid naturally found in saliva and calcium, from calcium carbonate. At physiological PH, they interact to form a complex with positive charge, that binds to the negatively-charged dentine surface like a magnet. The result is a calcium-rich layer on the cervical region of the tooth that occludes and seals the open dentine tubules.

Over time, this builds a protective barrier that acts like a seal and prevents sensitivity coming back**, even after exposure to amino acids. This layer of protection is rebuilt with every use of the sensitive toothpaste, ensuring long-lasting**relief from tooth sensitivity.
